Meet, ride and eat event.
We will meet at the Kwik Trip near the intersection of County S(Mineral Point Road) and Pioneer Road (just west of Madison), on Sunday(8/25) @ 8:30 AM. Kickstands up at 9:00 AM. We will then ride to Rockton, Wisconsin to consume Semi-World Famous BBQ chicken. Serving begins at 1:00 PM, and they always run out. Our goal is to be in Rockton a little before 1:00 PM. Please register so I can call ahead and reserve chicken dinners.
Rockton, Wisconsin is located in the Kickapoo River Valley along Highway 131. Some of the best roads in the state of Wisconsin are located here. We will ride some of those roads on the way to Rockton, but I highly encourage you do some exploring after lunch and experience the roads for yourself.
Minnesota brothers/sisters, you cannot pass this one up. You will need to ride 162/G/P or 162/33/27/P to get to Rockton. Plus all the other alphabet roads you people like to ride. Good thing is you can ride the same roads on the way home. All very good. Randy Schafer could probably ride there with his eyes closed. |
