We're still working on the details for this event, but we wanted to get this posted so you could add it to your calendar (link above).  Please check back for updates and additional information.

MotoAmerica Superbike Racing

After a prolonged hiatus of 17 years, MotoAmerica, North America's premier motorcycle road racing series, is bringing Superbike racing back to Brainerd International Raceway in Minnesota, July 30-August 1, with the announcement that the series and all five of its classes will return to the land of 10,000 lakes for round seven of the 2021 MotoAmerica HONOS Superbike Series.

Additional race information can be found on BIR's website.  Tickets are now available for purchase online

If anyone wants to meet up, Jeff Kerkow and Tom Weglarz will set up their RV's late Friday morning (7/30) at the racetrack in the remote camping area (likely somewhere in the purple area circled in the map below).

Randy Schafer (rides1zg@aol.com) is planning to lead a group ride out of the Twin Cities.  Time and location TBD (check back for additional information).

The light blue lines show the bridge into the infield.  Finding us shouldn't be hard, just look for the large COG banner.

Camping and Lodging
Camping is free with a multi-day ticket.  Shower trailers and bathrooms were available the last time I was there.  Jeff and Tom will have power for charging gadgets.

Food
Food will be determined once we have a headcount (so please register if you're planning to attend).  We will have grills, kitchens, coolers for "beverages", etc.

Please register for the event online to help us get a headcount and plan the amount of food needed for the cookouts

Registration will be done online through the COG website.  There are no registration fees, but we're asking everyone to register online so we have an idea of how much food will be needed.  Donations will be accepted at the event to help defray the cost of groceries.
