MA Group Ride to the Spring Fling

Note: This event is a group ride to and from the COG Spring Fling rally in New Hampshire. Participation in this ride does not register you for the rally itself. To register for the rally, please visit the COG Spring Fling registration page https://concours.org/event-6002118 to sign up.

Thursday, May 15 - Meet at Johnson's Restaurant and Dairy Bar for breakfast, leave at 8 am for a group ride up to the Golden Gables Inn, North Conway, NH. 

Friday and Saturday, May 16-17, ride the White Mountains and surrounding area. 

Sunday, May 18 (optional) - Kevin will lead a group ride back into MA, ending the ride at Johnson's Dairy in Groton. 

Meeting Location: Ride starts at 8 am from Johnson's Restaurant and Dairy Bar, 164 Boston Rd., (Rt-119) Groton, MA. Get there early if you want breakfast, please gas up before the ride starts. 

Ride Route Examples

GPX files that can be examined, used or modified using Garmin GPS or Basecamp. 

RELEASE: As with any route provided, we recommend following the route on a map first. This way you will have a better idea of where you are going and have more fun doing it. Thursday GPS Route

This group ride leaves from Johnson's Diary at 8 am and heads north into NH through the towns of: New Boston, Henniker, Danbury, Canaan, and Wentworth, riding Rte 118 through the White Mountains National Forest and into Lincoln, NH for lunch before riding the Kancamagus Pass and Bear Notch Road. 

Sunday GPS Route

Optional group ride that leaves from the Golden Gables Inn, south through the towns of Freedom, Wakefield, Rochester, Kingston, Windham NH, and into Groton, MA, stopping at Johnson's Dairy for lunch to end the ride.
